Normal days

Yes, that's what it's been like the last couple of days. Just normal days. Not much to say really. B worked the late shift over the weekend and A and I didn't do much. Sunday was B´s first day off out of 4. We were invited over to a friends house for coffee and cake, or "fika" as it's called in Swedish. It was nice to meet up our friends, have a chat and to see the kids play.
This afternoon we went in to town and A was delighted when she saw the big toys that you can sit in and that moves when mum and dad feed them with money ;)

This evening B and I have had a nice glas of rosé wine and relaxed whilst watching "Lie to me", one of our favorite tv shows, along with Dexter :) 

I wonder if I will be able to catch those shows on tv in Dubai :/ ..... time will tell..

Well, time to cuddle with my husband.

It's raining cats and dogs!

It's been such a boring day today, heavy rain, windy and cold. Or like the english teacher in school taught us to say  " it's raining cats and dogs" Ha ha ha
A and I stayed inside all afternoon and played in her room and watched her favorite movies (petit ours brun and madagascar) She's now in deep sleep, I am blogging and B is out flying.

Had a look at some old pictures and found a nice one of A which is from May last year. Of course I will share it with you guys.

Tropicarium

This morning we decided to visit the "Tropicarium" which is not far from where we live. It was so much fun and the whole family enjoyed it a lot. A ran around and shouted out (very loud) "HEJ HEJ, HEJ HEJ" to all the snakes, monkeys, turtles, sharks and the old crocodile. She is not scared of anything.... Ha ha ha

Cruise

Hello to you all,
I know I promised to update the blog when we were on the cruise but somehow this didn't happen. So I will make up for it now instead ;)
We have had 5 amazing day on the Liberty of the Sea with fantastic food, drinks, entertainment and more. I can go on and on but maybe it's more fun for you guys to look at some pictures instead. Enjoy!

Can she cry?

People always find little A so happy and most people have never heard her cry or seen her angry. But I tell you, behind closed doors... When she is alone with us she is showing her true colors ;) She is SO demanding and when she doesn't get what she wants she puts a show on with real tears, crying and the whole lot. And now I have proof to show you  ;) he he he

Alla tycker att vår lilla A alltid är en lite solstråle, inte många her sett henne gråta eller bli arg. Men... när hon är själv med oss så är hon så envis. När hon inte får som hon vill så klämmer hon fram både tårar och ett vrålskrik. För er som inte tror att detta kan vara möjligt så har jag nu bevis ;) he he he

Long days

The last couple of days have been fairly quiet. B is working late this week and little darling is waking up extremely early, 05.15 am this morning. So I get up when she wakes up and am deep a sleep when B gets back from work. We are both looking forward to the cruise (we are leaving on sat, yeay!)  so we can relax and have some quality time together ;)

De senaste dagarna har varit ganska så lugna. B jobbar sent denna veckan och lilla A vaknar otroligt tidigt, 05.15 var klockan  när hon vaknade i morse. Så jag får lov att gå upp när hon vaknar och sover djupt när B kommer hem från jobbet. Vi ser båda fram emot kryssningen (vi åker på lörd) så vi kan få lite mer tid tillsammans ;) 

A day in Stockholm

We have had a wonderful day in Stockholm with uncle J and cousin A. First we had lunch at the Bagel Café and after the lunch the girls, A and A, played in the park. We finished it off with a long walk along the waterfront. It was lovely! :) 

Vi har haft en underbar dag i Stockholm med morbror J och kusin A. Först åt vi lunch på Bagel Café och efter lunchen blev det lite lek i parken. Vi avslutade det hela med en lång promenad längst med vattnet. Det var så härligt! 

Time to exercise

Good morning all,

Friday and we are finally having a wonderful morning with blue skies and sunshine. You probably wont believe it but we had SNOW twice this week!!

On Fridays the Family Center arrange gymnastics for the kids. For 1 hrs they can run around in the sports hall and burn all their energy. The top 10 music list (for kids) is also playing on high volume ;)  Amélie loves to play with the balls which you can see on the picture below

God morgon på er!
I dag är det fredag och äntligen lite fint väder igen. Usch vad tråkigt det var med snö i två dagar. Man kunde inte tro att det var sant. Förhoppningsvis så blir det inget er av det.

På fredagar brukar öppna förskolan arrangera gymnastik för barnen. I en timma kan de springa fritt i en gymnastiksal och leka med bollar och annat roligt. Barnens favoritlåtar spelas också på hög volym ;) Amélie älskar att leka med bollarna vilket ni kan se på bilden.

Dubai

B just had a phone call and.... YES, we are moving to Dubai. B's DOJ is 22 Aug, but since he will be on the Airbus the training will probably be in France. So A and I will stay with my mum, until B's training period is over, before moving. Tonight we will celebrate with a bottle of champs or two... :))))

B har precis fått ett telefonsamtal..... och JA, han fick jobbet i Dubai och börjar sin kurs den 22 Aug. Men eftersom han nu ska flyga Airbus så kommer hans träning förmodligen att vara i Frankrike. Så A och jag kommer att bo hos min mamma i några veckor, tills B är klar med sin utbildning, innan vi flyttar. I kväll blir det till att fira med en flaska champagne eller två.... :))))

The zoo

Last Saturday we went to the zoo. I thought A would love it but she woke up very early, at 05.15 am, and wasn't in the mood for the zoo. However, the goats saved the day. She was so happy when she was allowed to say hi to the goats.

Premier

Hi everyone,
so here I am. Blogging after all...I never thought I would start a blog and write about our life. But since we always will be far away from family and friends (wherever we will end up) I reckon this is a good way for them to keep up to date with our life.

Not sure which language I will write in though... Guess it will be a mix of English and Swedish. If I write in Swedish then it's more so my mum will understand.
Anyway...

So what have we done today so far. A and I have been to the "family center" (öppna förskolan) and she had a great time playing with her friends. We did sing as well. A loves when we gather together to sing. Today, she was standing in the middle of the circle showing everyone all the movements to the different songs. Well, at least for 5 minutes.. then she got bored and wandered off a little bit. She is so funny! Now she's a sleep and I am trying to start this blog. Hopefully it will be good in the end. Just bare with me until I have completed the look of the blog.
