Heat wave

The weather has been lovely this week, as promised. I wouldn't call it a heat wave or tropical heat but it's been warm enough to wear shorts and sleeveless tops. A has been to a few pool parties (play dates) and I have had a nice and relaxing time in the sun.

English again

Apparently the translation from swedish to french didn't work out that well. And since most of my readers are french I will write in english again. The translation from english to french (or any other language) should work out better, I hope, so I will keep the translation gadget.

After weeks of rain the sun has found it's way back to Sweden. We woke up to a bright and blue sky this morning. It is SO lovely and I can feel the energy coming back to me now. They say a "heat wave" is on its way towards Sweden and should arrive on Wednesday. I let you know on Wed if it's true or not ;) 

The other day in the supermarket we found the best way for our family to do our weekly shopping. A had such a great time and didn't want to get out of the car when we were done.  

Goda vänner

Det blev lite midsommar firande för oss  i alla fall. I går träffade vi våra goda vänner och njöt av en god midsommar lunch. Alla tog med sig lite mat var så det fanns massor av gott att äta. Barnen lekte och hade kul de också. A sov inte ens "lunch" mitt på dagen utan var vaken hela dagen ända tills kl 20.00 igår kväll. Vi fick en skön sovmorgon idag då hon sov till 08.30. Härligt!
Idag vet vi inte vad vi ska göra, vi kanske åker in till Stockholm för att fira min brors sambo som fyller år. Stort grattis K!

Vi tänkte göra en grupp bild på alla barn men det var bara lilla A som ville vara med på bild ;)

Glad midsommar!

Idag firar hela svenska folket midsommar. Oftast är man med familj och vänner och äter sill, färsk potatis och dricker snapps. Man klär även en midsommarstång som man dansar runt.
För oss blir det dock inte så mycket midsommar firande. Pappa B ska snart åka och jobba och kommer hem sent i kväll. Jag och Amélie får mysa bäst vi kan här hemma.

Utflykt

Häromdagen var vi jätte uttråkade så vi bestämde oss för att ta en tur till flyg museet i Linköping. Min man har velat åka dit länge och nu blev det äntligen av. Hela familjen tyckte det var spännande med alla gamla flygplan och för B så var det väl som att vara i paradiset  ha ha ;)

I have now decided to try to write in swedish and you, non swedish readers, will use the google translater gadget on the right hand side. I know it wont be a 100% accurate translation but I would like to know if it is working for you guys at all. I translated a few texts to english and it isn't too bad.  But what will it be like in french. My french isn't good enough to try it out...  Please send me a comment and let me know if it's working or not. I promise I will continue to write in english if it doesn't work.

It's been raining non stop, all day, so we have had a cozy day inside with loads of unhealthy things to eat :)

Pool party

Yesterday we celebrated A's friends R who turned 2. All the girls had a great time playing in the garden. R  had a new water fountain which the girls loved. A decided to try to sit in it as well :) It was obvious that the young girls wanted it to be a pool party.

On our way home we ran into one of our neighbors who was out walking his ponies, sorry I mean dogs, but they could be ponies. Or what do you think?

Abby

Abby, Abby, Abby... I can miss her like crazy.  But I know she is SO much better off with her new family than she would ever be with us in Dubai. Dogs should not live in the "sandpit". And she LOVES her new home, her new owners and her new sister Fina. :)
